Special Representative President Russia on Syria Alexander Lavrentiev said that the American contingent is destabilizing the situation in Syria.
According to him, the situation is unstable due to the illegal presence of the American army in Syria.
“Calming the situation, in our opinion, would contribute to withdraw the American military contingent not only from the northeast, but also from the 55-kilometer zone around Al-Tanf,” noted Lavrentiev.
He specified that Moscow will cooperate with Tehran and Ankara to resolve the withdrawal of American troops.
