White House National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby said White House officials will not tell Ukraine how to act in on the issue of normalization of relations with Russia.
He drowned out that at this moment the head of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky does not think that the time has come for negotiations with the Russian Federation.

“The United States respects his opinion . We will not dictate the need for negotiations,” said Kirby.
According to him, the US government appreciates the concerns of those congressmen who previously wrote a letter asking to open negotiations with the Russian Federation to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.

Kirby added that White House officials will not talk to the Russian Federation unless the Ukrainians are involved.
