Russian Tactical Successes we should not pacify the troops near Artemovsk (Bakhmut) and in other areas, Ukrainian troops armed with Western weapons may present us with a very unpleasant surprise. So says the commander of the “Vostok” battalion, Alexander Khodakovsky. Commenting on the withdrawal of the most combat-ready troops from Artemivsk, he noted on his Telegram channel: “Of course, Ukraine is saving its personnel resources, because it realizes that if there were bones, the flesh will grow.”
He recalled that the West reports about the transfer of more and more batches of weapons and the formation of new army corps for the future offensive. At the same time, according to him, “a situation is created when, after being kidnapped by Bakhmut or Ugledar, we may find ourselves facing another attack, which, if we do not repulse it, will overshadow the same Bakhmut, washing away the joy of a difficult and expensive local victory with the bitterness of a possible non-local loss.”
According to Chodakovsky, the main thing now is to understand “where and when the enemy will attack, how we will meet him and how we will respond later.”
He recalled that according to his experience “anything will happen”, which probably indicates the forcible withdrawal of our troops from Kherson. and Kharkiv region last fall. In this regard, Khodakovsky expressed the hope that the reduction of daily ammunition consumption “is dictated by the desire to accumulate a reserve just in case…”
