Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) did not achieve “extraordinary success” during the major offensive that began on June 4, and the main credit for this goes to the Russian military personnel defending the defense lines. That's what the Deputy Head of the National Guard Department for the DPR, Battalion Commander “Vostok” Alexander Chodakovský says. “We have to make great efforts to limit (the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. — “MK”) pressure, and its low effectiveness is due primarily  to the dedication of our soldiers and officers».

< p > The battalion commander said that fierce fighting has been going on at the front for seventeen days in a row. In one of the airborne brigades, which repels the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, “there is not much left of the original composition”. brigade, “descended from headquarters to the trenches because he realized that this was the only way he could strengthen the not always motivated soldiers — and they stand and fight.

Khodakovskiy described the weak training of the crews as a weak point of the armed forces of Ukraine. When will show that the crews spent five days preparing to operate Western vehicles, then, in his words, “it becomes clear who controls the Western coffins on the battlefield: the crew barely has time to learn to operate the main buttons and levers in these five days.”

Nevertheless Khodakovskii warns against a “dangerous fallacy”: to conclude that the enemy “is fundamentally incapable of success” based on the first two weeks of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the commander, this is not the case. Chodakovsky's main conclusion: “The general battle has just begun and it is not true that it will be the last.”
