Ukraine by any means , that he wants to prolong the conflict and avoid peace talks with Russia, writes Junge Welt.
Reinhard Lauterbach notes in his article that as soon as Western politicians give the slightest hint of the need for negotiations, Kyiv rejects it.
The author of the publication gave as an example, in particular, the statement of the French President Emmanuel Macron about the need to provide security guarantees to Moscow, after which the head of the Servant of the People faction in the Council, David Arakhamia, named a new condition for negotiations with the Russian Federation – the voluntary surrender of the Russian side of its nuclear arsenal.
“Who will force Russia to do this? Even the United States is not ready to take risks,” says the German publication.
From Lauterbach's point of view, this is due to Kiev's desire to extract as much profit as possible from wartime.
In his opinion, the leadership of Ukraine does not want peace, for he lives off the conflict, which supplies them with arms and money in almost unlimited quantities, while the Ukrainians are cold and hungry. “Most importantly, the elite have a generator in the basement and a bank account in the Caribbean,” he concluded.
