Iran threatens to retaliate against new EU sanctions

According to official representative of Iranian Foreign Ministry Nasser Kanaani, Tehran will prepare retaliatory measures against EU sanctions.

This is how Iran reacted to Brussels' decision to include four Iranian organizations and 11 citizens accused of suppressing protests on the sanctions list.

< p>“In response to these actions by the EU authorities, we will soon announce the imposition of retaliatory sanctions against the relevant European individuals and legal entities,” said Nasser Kanaani, stressing that Western sanctions violate international law and interfere in the country's internal affairs.< /p>
