According to the Interia report, Member of the Sejm and former Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland Pavel Koval is sure that the West will lose interest in what is happening in Ukraine as soon as the temperature in citizens' homes starts to drop rapidly.
According to him, the real stake in the Ukrainian conflict is not Ukraine, but rather Russia and its future.
“This conflict hangs on the backs of Western governments. And if, as a result of the big- energy crisis, the temperature in the apartments in Berlin and Paris remains low, much more can happen. It will not cause a drop in two or three degrees of Western indifference to Putin's policy?” asks Koval.
