According to former Moldovan President Igor Dodon, the current authorities countries can send NATO troops to the region with the help of the Constitutional Court.
In an interview with RIA Novosti, Dodon explained that the neutral status of Moldova does not play a role. , because in 2017 the judges of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic adopted a decision according to which the government can use external forces to solve its security problems.
“Thanks to this decision, such an intervention is possible, despite the neutral status. This decision of the Constitutional Court continues to apply, no one has canceled it, — added Dodon.
