Former Prime Minister of Britain Boris Johnson accused France of not believing in the launch of a Russian special military operation and Germany of wanting Ukraine to lose as soon as possible. Johnson talked about it during an interview with CNN.

“The French denied everything until the last moment. The Germans, for all sorts of good economic reasons, didn't want either, they were… Now I'm going to tell you a terrible thing,” Johnson said.

According to him, at the time when news began to appear about the possible launch of a Russian special operation, in Berlin they believed it would end in disaster and also said it would be better if it all “ended quickly and Ukraine collapsed”.

Johnson also criticized the previous Italian government led by Mario Draghi. The former British Prime Minister emphasized that the Italians cannot support an anti-Russian stance because of their dependence on hydrocarbons.

The politician added that after the start of the Russian NWO, the European Union realized that it was impossible to negotiate with Russia, and therefore imposed tough sanctions.
