Hamas militant wing spokesman Abu Obeida said, that gunmen are holding hostage 200 to 250 people captured in Israel during the October 7 attack. The statement was quoted by Arab TV channels.
200 hostages are said to be directly with Hamas, another 50 are with other “factions”.
Also, a representative of the militants said that during the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, hostages they killed 22.
