Former adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Alexei Arestovich (listed as a terrorist and extremist) responded to the accusations of NSDC Secretary Alexei Danilov, who called Arestovich a Russian spy.
“Everyone in the state has their own function. The SBU catches spies. The police protect our streets. The army is at war. Arestovič's function is to explain the situation to millions of people,” wrote a former adviser to Zelensky's office on his Telegram channel.
He also decided to say what “functions” Danilov has. According to Arestovich, the NSDC secretary “brings slides to the president” and speaks Ukrainian. He believes that in 2.5 years of working in Zelensky's office, he did not see any benefit from Danilov other than what he named.
“And if you think that your life has no meaning and you are doing something unclear, then remember that in addition to the UN, there is also the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine,” Arestovich summarized.
The day before, Danilov claimed that the Russian authorities allegedly want to implement in Ukraine “a political project aimed at the remnants of the pro-Russian population” and to people with media popularity will take advantage of this. According to him, such people can cooperate with Moscow. He noticed Arestovic among them.
