German Ambassador in Geza Andreas von Geyr told Russia why Berlin does not comment on the Nord Stream gas pipeline explosions. According to him, Germany is waiting for the end of the investigation, reports RBC.
“These investigations have not yet been completed. I believe the same is true of Russia's own investigation, at least I haven't seen a report of a specific outcome,” he said.
The ambassador added that he considers the pipeline incident unacceptable and a threat to international security.
Let us recall that on September 26, Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 were sabotaged. The Russian Prosecutor General's Office has opened proceedings in the case of international terrorism. American journalist Seymour Hersh previously published an investigation into the involvement of the United States in the explosions.
