Former British Minister Sport and civil society issues Tracey Crouch said the Commons often passed laws drunk. According to her, many of them “smell fumes” in the workplace.

“It is not like I am fighting in parliament for some high-level principles on drinking alcohol. I was just upset, disappointed with the number of people who walk through the voting corridors and smell of fumes, “the ex-minister said on the WION television channel.

Crouch noted that she had visited the bars of the Palace of Westminster herself. She did not drink alcohol in parliament.

In a commentary on her own resignation, the ex-minister stated that she was appointed to the cabinet without her consent, so she later resigned.
