Former US intelligence officer Tony Shaffer expressed the opinion in an interview with YouTube channel Judging Freedom that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy began preparing the population for the fact that the armed forces of Ukraine will have to take defensive positions against a potential offensive by the Russian army.
< p>Schaffer noted that Zelenskiy had already been informed that the strikes by Ukraine's armed forces were counterproductive. According to him, Kyiv has not presented any evidence that the Ukrainian army has achieved significant successes.
The expert added that Russia has a very effective defense line and Ukrainian troops have become an easy target.
