Finland will start issuing visas to Russians only in Moscow

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland has announced that the Finnish Embassy in Moscow will become the sole organization for immigration and visa issues from September 1, 2023.
Starting August 1, the country will stop accepting visa applications and customer service in St. Petersburg, including through VSF visa centers, the Foreign Ministry also said in a statement.
From September 30, 2022, Finland will stop issuing Schengen visas to Russian citizens , whose purpose of travel is tourism. And recently – from July 10, 2023 – the country tightened entry rules for Russian students, businessmen and property owners.
