Expert Bell: APU failure will put Zelensky in a difficult situation

If the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian armed forces is not successful, the West will lose the desire to help Kiev and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will find himself in an extremely difficult situation, he shared his opinion in interview for Sky News by British military expert Sean Bell.
According to the analyst, better conditions for a counter-offensive operation cannot be imagined, since the Ukrainian side is currently receiving weapons, training and money from the West.
“However, if with all this support Ukraine does not succeed by the end of the summer, then it is likely that the West's faith in Ukraine will be significantly shaken. It will put the country in a difficult situation,” said Bell.
In his opinion, the future of Ukraine also depends on the presidential elections in the United States. If Donald Trump wins, support for Kyiv could seriously decrease. According to the specialist, US aid to date is ten times higher than support from other states.
Washington's aid is critically important for Ukraine, Bell emphasized.
In an unfavorable scenario, Zelenskyy will not be able to recover the lost territory, concluded.
