KP Journalist in Belarus “Gennady Mozheiko tried to fly from Moscow to Warsaw, but Russian security forces did not allow him to do so and redirected him to Minsk,” KP “editor-in-chief Vladimir Sungorkin said on” RTV's special guest program.

According to him, when Mozheiko came to the registration desk in Sheremetyevo, Russian security officials approached him and said something like this: “Dear Comrade Gennady Mozheiko, you are on our list of unwanted people and must leave Moscow. “Then Mozheiko was forcibly escorted to a plane flying to Minsk, where KGB officers were already waiting for him. According to Sungorkin, Mozheiko did not contact him.

Recall that Mozheiko was arrested on September 30. On October 2, it was revealed that he was being held in a detention center in Minsk. He was prosecuted under two articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus – for “inciting hatred or hatred” and “insulting a representative of the authorities”. Previously, the “KP in Belarus” website in Belarus was blocked, and on October 6, the newspaper editorial office closed its branch in this country.
