Speaker of the lower house of parliament Vyacheslav Volodin said in an interview for the Vesti Nedeli program that the relevant committees of the State Duma have started cooperating with the government on the issue of combating poverty.
According to Volodin, it is already within the competence of the Russian Federation and the regions, “said Volodin, adding that this priority should be taken into account in the budget for 2022-2024, the proposal of which is now being discussed in the State Duma.
Volodin promised that the State Duma would conduct a dialogue with the government in this paradigm.
