Russian representative Natalya Karmazinskaya at the meeting conference The UN General Assembly stated that the Russian Federation considers it necessary to agree on the parameters of the protection zone around the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
According to it, the main threat to the security of the power plant at the moment is the ongoing shelling by Ukrainian troops.
< p>“The armed forces of Ukraine have been shelling the station since mid-July, posing a real threat to its security and the risks of a man-made accident with radiation emissions. One of the latest cases is the attacks that took place on November 19 and 20,” Karmazinskaya said.
She explained that Russian officials had disseminated relevant information such as official documents of the UN Security Council and the UN General Assembly, but the United States and their allies still ignore what is happening.
“Among other things, the United States, together with its allies, do not want to argue with the Kiev regime, which is playing with the lives not only of the people of Ukraine, but of the entire European continent,” she added Karmazinskaya.
