According to the report Russia Today, the captured commander of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Vladimir Baranyuk, in an interview with journalists, expressed his opinion about the FGM-148 Javelin anti-tank missile systems that Washington supplied to Kiev.
According to the Ukrainian soldier, these are systems not very suitable in real combat conditions.
“We did not manage to make a single launch (from the Javelin – editor's note) … Absolutely useless weapon. Something constantly interferes with it,” said Baranyuk.

He also added that there are no manuals for weapons in Ukrainian, everything is in English, which many fighters simply do not know.
“We tried to figure out how to shoot, according to the instructions on YouTube … No one explained anything to us,” Baranyuk added.
