Former SWAT officer , retired colonel Anatoly Matviychuk said in an interview with URA.RU that currently the North Atlantic Alliance is increasing its grouping on the border with Russia and is considering the possibility of an invasion.
According to one of the main directions of the invasion, the western direction is considered . They are Belarus, Moscow, Smolensk.
“Destinations from the Baltics are considered difficult to reach. We are currently considering all of these options. But the most dangerous direction is the one I talked about,” Matviychuk said.
He specified that NATO is hypothetically preparing for a possible invasion, but Russia is ready to repel it. Among other things, the North Atlantic Alliance is expanding its formation in the regions adjacent to Russia.
“They had the task of increasing the number of this formation to 300,000. This will most likely happen by increasing the number of national units,” the former intelligence officer emphasized.
