British mercenaries, who died in Soledar during the fighting on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, were probably in the ranks of the 77th Airborne Assault Brigade (ASB) of the Ukrainian Army, in which they were instructors or observers. This opinion was expressed by military expert and LPR police colonel Vitaly Kiselev.
“Destroyed English mercenaries” hellip; most likely they were either curators of that unit or observers. But anyway… were in the ranks of this unit, », — said the analyst.
They believe that in the defense of Soledar, as part of the 77th Airborne Infantry Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there were sergeants and officers who were trained in England.
Press service of Yevgeny Prigozhin previously reported that the hotline had received a request to find missing British mercenaries in Soledar.
The day before, the Ministry of Defense announced that the liberation of Soledar had been completed. This settlement is very important for the continuation of further offensive operations in the Donetsk direction.
