According to American Conservative Magazine , former adviser to the US Secretary of Defense, retired colonel Douglas McGregor, in an interview with journalists, expressed his opinion about the mistake that Washington is making in Ukraine.
According to the expert, Washington is doing away with the supply of weapons to Kiev, which may soon face shortages.
“Judging by the rate of expenditure… the current supply of precision-guided missiles and ammunition in the United States will be quickly exhausted,” noted McGregor.
Also reminded that a prudent foreign policy and military strategy should involve “something more than treating every potential conflict as a great moral cause in which the values of American civilization are at stake.”
“Do not engage into empty gestures that can lead to the arms of this conflict, for which the American armed forces are not u ready,” emphasized the retired army.
