Captured in Russian Captured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in an interview with military commanders, shared their memories of the attacks on Mariupol, including the shelling of residential buildings in the city.
Deputy head of the command post of the 56th Dept. of the motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant Colonel Valentin Altukhov, confirmed the relevant information.
According to the Ukrainian soldier, the order to attack the residential area of Mariupol was given to the tankers by the commander of the 36th Marine Brigade, Colonel Vladimir Baranyuk.
