Deputy Secretary of Defense James Hippie said today that the British government considered it acceptable for Ukraine to strike “legitimate targets” in Russia.
In response to a relevant question in an interview with the BBC, he noted that this issue should be considered in the context of the admissibility of the use of British military equipment by Ukrainians against the Russian military targets.
& quot; Hippie answered the question, adding that he considered it “perfectly legal” to select targets behind enemy lines in order to “disrupt” his logistics and supply routes.
