The Acting Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo announced that the timing of the repair and restoration of traffic on the Chongarsky bridge connecting the region with Crimea is being postponed.

According to Saldo, the damage to the structure was much more severe than originally thought.
“Unfortunately, the damage to the bridge is much more severe than we originally thought,” said Saldo.
Recall that immediately after the rockets hit the bridge, Balance said that as a civil engineer estimates the duration of repairs in some days, he now said that the structural survey and restoration work will take 15 to 20 days, “maybe more.”
The bridge is still unusable for car traffic, Saldo added.
