US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in During a joint press conference with British Foreign Minister James Cleverley, he accused Russia of excluding the possibility of resolving the conflict through negotiations with its demands for recognition of the entry of the DLNR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions into the Russian Federation.
According to him, these demands for recognition are of new territorial realities “unacceptable and do not allow the negotiation process.”
“The rhetoric that has been promoted by the Russian Federation for many weeks and months, that they are interested in diplomacy, and Ukraine and we are not. This, of course, is completely wrong… In a recent conversation with the Turkish president, Putin said that until Ukraine accepts the new territorial realities, as he put it, there is nothing to agree on… it has no chance of success by itself,” said Blinken.
