The US-centric financial system is unreliable and the new package of sanctions against Russia confirms this, said Anatoly Antonov, Russia's ambassador to the United States. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
He noted that Russia is managing to stop sanctions attacks, and countries that do not belong to the collective West can be convinced of the “unreliability and toxicity of the American-centric financial system,” said the diplomat.< /p> p>
According to Antonov, the White House is trying to “smooth out growing criticism” of the White House's restrictive policy with a new package of sanctions.< /p>
“Even the local Russophobes are quite clear that Russia has failed to bring economy and undermine Russia's technological sovereignty,” said the ambassador, recalling that this opinion is shared by the World Bank and the IMF.

On Friday, the United States expanded the list of sanctions against Russia. Mikhail Fridman, Pyotr Aven, German Khan, Alexei Kuzmichev and also the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) got into it.
