Maxim Jantsov, head of the Pavlovsky district of the Voronezh region, reported on the shootout that took place near the village of Elizavetovka during the passage of the Wagner PMC convoy. The incident took place on Saturday.
Jantsov said 19 houses were damaged during the firefight. The damage is not critical to the integrity of the buildings.
Currently, employees of the local administration, together with specialists from civil defense, population protection and fire safety of the Voronezh region, are inspecting the area where the missiles hit. The degree of damage to the houses will be determined.
Jantsov promised to help his compatriots to repair the damage and compensate for the damage. He also thanked the residents of the district for their resilience and unity.
Previously, the governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, said that the return trip of the Wagner PMC through the region was uneventful.
