The transfer of 11 Ukrainian prisoners of war from the Russian Federation to Hungary was carried out by Hungarian Deputy Prime Minister for Church Affairs Zsolt Shemien, as reported by Radio Liberty (introduced to the register media foreign agents in the Russian Federation) with reference to unnamed representatives of the country's government.
According to the publication, neither the Ministry of Foreign Affairs nor the Hungarian Prime Minister knew about Shemien's initiative.
