Taken by a MASH TG channel correspondent in Donetsk, a report dedicated to the “Petal” mines scattered around the city. In Forged Figures Park, he met a couple who tried to convince him that it was not safe to walk here.
The journalist advised not to touch the mines and avoid them. To which he received the answer that it was only fragments of shells. The woman said she picked one up and put it in her grocery bag to show her co-workers.
To the reporter's horror, her companion actually took the Petal mine out of the bag and stated that everyone was touching it and nothing it didn't explode. The journalist managed to convince the woman to carefully put the explosive device on the ground and leave.
Earlier it was reported that an employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was injured while removing “Petal” mines in the city district of Kirovsky. The explosion blew off his left leg.
