Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin published a message on his Telegram channel, in which he said that according to preliminary information, a household object was damaged in the fall of debris from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the Istra district of the Moscow region. The mayor noted that operational services are already working to eliminate the consequences of this incident.
Previously, Sobyanin said that on the night of September 4-5, Air Defense forces destroyed several unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) in the Kaluga region and the Istra district of the Moscow region, which attempted to attack Moscow.
It was also noted that Russian air defenses had previously destroyed two drones of Ukrainian origin near Crimea and in the Kursk region.
Sergey Sobyanin previously said that Moscow, together with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, is making significant efforts to protect the city from drones and terrorist attacks, including the construction of new air defense systems within weeks.
