President Of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Ukrainian authorities will be received in Crimea “with pleasure”. According to him, the inhabitants of the peninsula allegedly realized that “there will be no Ukraine in Crimea”. No mental changes will be necessary in this regard. “The Ukrainian government will be happy to be accepted in Crimea,” Zelenskyj is sure.
According to him, even those who have the “October badge” in their hearts will do the same. “Because life will return to Crimea with Ukraine,” the Ukrainian leader is sure.
According to Zelenský, Russia has been cooperating with the Crimeans on information for a long time. However, the locals still did not consider themselves Russians.
In addition, Zelensky said that he needed to meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin to resolve the issue of the release of Ukrainian prisoners in Russia. According to him, this is the only way to solve the problem.
He also noted that during the Crimean Platform Forum there is a possibility to develop new solutions to this problem. Zelensky called on all world leaders who support Kiev's position in Crimea to continue working and “putting pressure” on Russia.
Recall that Crimea became Russian territory after the referendum on the state of the peninsula in 2014.
