The spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, spoke to the Russians from the Trinity-Sergius Lavra. She published the video in her Telegram.
Zacharova recalled St. Sergius of Radonezh, who lived in difficult times and understood the danger of fratricidal civil strife.
“There are times when a personal, even one hundred percent, feeling correctness should recede into the background,” said the diplomat. Zakharova added that the main traitor in the history of the world is Judas, who betrayed Jesus to the guards and informed them of his presence in the Garden of Gethsemane. “Do not repeat these mistakes, be brave, be loyal, be defenders of the country and the people,” Zakharova said.
The diplomat added that the main thing our people need now is – it is unity.
