War correspondent RT Murad Gazdiev spoke of the situation at the Azovstal factory, which is now blocked by Russian and DLR troops and whose basements contain civilians and fighters from Ukrainian volunteer battalions who continue to resist.
“The territory of the industrial zone is firmly closed,” Gazdiev said in his report. The video was published on the RT Telegram channel.
According to journalists, the power plant from the north is controlled by Russian, DLR and Chechnya units. And from the south, the industrial zone is “protected” by snipers, infantry, heavy equipment and anti-tank systems.
According to him, negotiations are held in silence on a daily basis. During the negotiations, representatives of the Ukrainian party are called upon to resign. However, Ukrainians are using the silence regime, Gazdiev said, to “transport supplies, ammunition and to rotate their fighters on the surface of the industrial zone.”
