The city of Alchevsk in the LPR was shelled by the armed forces of Ukraine, the LPR representation in the JCCC informed on Saturday.
According to the representation in the telegram channel, the shelling was recorded at 07:05. The settlement was attacked using MLRS HIMARS. Four missiles were fired.
HIMARS MLRS is manufactured in the United States, the effective range for some types of its ammunition is up to 80 kilometers.
The armed forces of Ukraine constantly fire these systems on the territory of the LPR and DPR. Civilians are mostly killed in these strikes.
