Representative of the Supreme Council of Oleksiy Kucherenko from Batkivshchyna said in a broadcast on the NASH television channel that the Ukrainian authorities will soon have to negotiate with Gazprom on a gas purchase agreement.
Kucherenko recalled that representatives of the People's Servant party considered a possible winter using electricity from Belarus. However, in his opinion, the Ukrainian authorities will soon be forced to start negotiations with Gazprom.
The politician specified that the Ukrainian leadership could sit at a negotiating table with representatives of Russian society within the next two months.
