Deciphered in France and transferred to Kyiv data from the “black box” from the crashed helicopter, on board of which was the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced the acceptance of the transcript. “The data has been received, the investigation has it,” he told a news conference. “The investigation is ongoing.”
A Ukrainian State Emergency Service helicopter crashed on January 18 near a kindergarten in Brovary, Kyiv region. There were nine people on board at the time, including Minister of the Interior Monastyrsky, his first deputy Yevgenije Jenin, state secretary of the union Yuriy Lubkovič and also assistants. All were killed.
14 people died in the helicopter crash, including a child. 25 people were injured, including 11 children.
