Tikhanovskaya announced a new threat from Prigozhin

Belarusian opposition Tikhanovskaya said Wagner PMC units threaten Poland, Lithuania and Latvia

Svetlana Tichanovskaya, the leader of the Belarusian opposition, expressed her concern about the departure of the head of the private military company (PMC) Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin to Belarus. He believes that this creates a new threat to the security of Poland, Lithuania and Latvia.

Tikhanovskaya expressed the opinion, according to Bloomberg, that the possible arrival of PMC units in Belarus would carry many risks. She highlighted several potential threats, including possible reprisals against opponents of President Alexander Lukashenko, the presence of Russian troops on the country's territory and the deployment of tactical nuclear weapons from Russia.

Besides Tikhanovskaya. suggests that Prigozhin could be training the Russian army, dealing in arms or planning attacks on Ukraine.

Earlier, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda called on NATO to strengthen the security of the alliance's eastern flank if Prigozhin and part of the Wagner PMC fighters end up in Belarus.
