In the presidential elections in The US Administration of Joe Biden said that he could not confirm information about the preparation of a decision on the transfer of ATACMS long-range missiles to Ukraine. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
The agency submitted a corresponding request to the representative of the National Security Council of the White House. He replied that he could neither confirm nor deny the information about the impending decision to send missiles to Kiev.
Previously, ABC News, citing its sources, reported that the US leadership was preparing for a decision to send long-range ATACMS missiles to Ukraine. It is emphasized that a decision will be made soon, but plans may still change before the official announcement. If the transfer of ATACMS to Kyiv is approved, it will be announced in the next military aid package.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitriy Kuleba has previously announced a discussion on the delivery of ATACMS missiles. He announced this information at a joint press conference with American Foreign Minister Antony Blinken.
