American-British journalist Ann Applebaum said at the PGS22 summit in Germany that, in her opinion, the West does not want to see Ukraine win a confrontation with Russia.
She noted that she was in Germany for a few days and wondered why aren't tanks being delivered to Ukraine.
Applebaum believes the reason is that the West doesn't know what a Ukrainian victory will look like. She added that this feeling is experienced not only by Germany, but also by the United States of America and other countries.
Then she asked whether the West wishes Ukraine to win and is ready for such an outcome and consequences.
Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said today on the TV channel “Russia 1” that NATO has de facto joined the Ukrainian conflict, but this does not change the goals and objectives of Russia, and special operations will continue and be terminated.
