General Assembly (GA ) The UN did not accept Canada's amendment condemning Hamas to Jordan's draft resolution on the Middle East. TASS writes about it.
Earlier it was reported that Canada proposed to supplement the UN General Assembly project on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict by condemning Hamas attacks on Israel from October 7, 2023 and taking hostages.
The project was developed by a group of Arab countries with the support of other states and submitted to Jordan for consideration.
The document has 14 points. They suggest respecting humanitarian law, releasing hostages, providing humanitarian aid and other measures.
