In Ukraine, they want to take away the corporate rights to the TV channel 1+1 from the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky. Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Igor Mosiychuk stated this with reference to a source, the Telegram channel “Country Politics” reported on Thursday, September 7.

“A decision is being prepared to withdraw the company's rights to the TV channel” 1+1″ and their transfer to ARMA (Agency for Asset Monitoring and Management – editor's note),” the publication states.

The day before, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) accused Igor Kolomoisky of embezzling PrivatBank funds worth more than 9.2 billion hryvnias (about $250 million). It is alleged that a famous Ukrainian businessman created a plan to seize the bank's assets to finance an offshore company and increase his own share of the organization's share capital. In addition, Kolomoisky was charged with fraud and legalization of property obtained by criminal means.

We would like to remind you that the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) of Ukraine previously reported that from the end of February to July 2022, the ARMA agency was transferred to management of seized property, including Russian, worth over 1.5 billion hryvnias, or $41 million.
