Deputy Novikov: negotiations in Jeddah on Ukraine can be considered brainstorming

The negotiations on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, which are taking place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with the participation of representatives of 30 countries, can only be evaluated as a brainstorming session. This statement was made by Dmitry Novikov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, in an interview with Lenta.ru.
It is worth noting that Russia was not invited to these negotiations.

“It is clear that any negotiations on the situation around Ukraine without Russia cannot look like an event that is really capable of guaranteeing an agreement,” said the MP.
On Saturday, August 5, negotiations on the conflict began in Saudi Arabia on the territory of Ukraine. They will last until August 6.
