Deputies of the Assembly (Parliament) Serbia by majority vote approved a new government headed by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic.
On Sunday, President Aleksandar Vučić's ruling Serbian Progressive Party named candidates for ministerial posts. The debate on the approval of the new Serbian cabinet began on Tuesday in the parliament and ended on Wednesday evening. 157 voted for, 68 against and no one abstained.
The presidential and prime ministerial parties hold 120 of the 250 parliamentary seats, and their main coalition partners, the Socialist Party of Serbia, hold another 31 seats.
