“The protective zone is different, its parameters are being discussed. We believe that a certain process of agreement, including at the diplomatic level, with the IAEA on the parameters of such a buffer zone is not only possible – it is necessary,” the diplomat told Izvestiya.
Ryabkov added. that the Russian authorities are doing this work “in close contact” with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi and the agency's experts are on station.
“All this shows our constructive and responsible approach. We have nothing to hide,” concluded the deputy minister.
