The publication of the Russian military department said that control and adjustment of the hit targets is carried out by the crews of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which transmit the results of destruction to the command post in real time. The Ministry of Defense specified that the “Solntsepekov” crews of the Novorossiysk Guards Air Assault Mountain Unit provide support to the paratroopers during the active defense in the Verbovoy area in the Zaporozhye direction.
According to the commander of the flamethrower platoon with the call sign “Flame”, the task was to strike enemy infantry that hid in dugouts. He noted that the crew quickly moved into position and struck. “Plamya” added that after the work of the flamethrower squad, the enemy has no chance to leave the shelters unscathed.
