Russian Embassy in Canada accused of homophobia over tweet about family, corresponding article published by DH News.
The reason was a tweet by a diplomatic mission with the following content: “A family is a man, a woman and children.” It was published on Friday.
As reported, in addition to publications, the Russian embassy's tweet caused a storm of public outrage and active discussion on social networks. The Russian embassy was labeled as “propagandizing homophobia and hate speech.”
Representatives of the Ukrainian-Canadian Congress made separate statement. “We cannot find an explanation for why Justin Trudeau has not yet expelled a single Russian diplomat from the country!” they said in a statement.
