US for unpacking explain why Russian-made Mi-17 helicopters are moving to Ukraine. The statement was made by the Russian embassy in the United States.
According to the diplomatic mission, Russia has a right to such an issue because it is a manufacturer and exporter of Mi-17 helicopters.
The United States has previously announced that Russian-made Mi-17 helicopters will be handed over to Kiev. This decision is due to the fact that Ukrainian pilots are able to control such aircraft and it is not necessary to teach them at length, which would be needed when moving Western-made helicopters.
