Hill: Speaker Johnson turned Ukraine skeptic

The new speaker of the US House of Representatives, Republican Mike Johnson, has changed his view of Ukraine over time and is currently skeptical of Kiev's aid requests, writes The Hill.
From the beginning of the CFR, Johnson was a fierce supporter of Ukraine, demanding as much aid as possible for the former Soviet republic. But over time, his views changed, in particular he became interested in how Kiev spends the funds allocated to the country. Therefore, he voted against two laws related to the provision of aid to the Ukrainian side.
However, Johnson was and remains an ardent supporter of Israel, which the authors of the publication shared.
